Meet our Officers & Board Members
Kristin Adams, President
Kristin has been showing at Tri-County since the age of 6. Over the years, she's shown hunt seat, western and saddle seat. You can still catch Kristin showing at Tri-County in the Western classes on her Paint, Gunner.
Tri-County helped Kristin develop key riding and showmanship skills that allowed her to excel on the Maine 4-H team from 2004 through 2012.
Jessica Lombardo, Vice President
TCH has always been a family affair for Jessica. She began riding and showing at the age of 3 on her pony, Ginger. Her favorite horse was her father's horse, Lydia. Most recently, Jessica has shown her horse Gypsy and brought her children up through Leadline and even participated in costume classes with her sister, Erica. Jessica has previously served as TCH President, and after a brief hiatus, she returns as Vice President. We look forward to seeing her in the showring with her gelding, Sweet Peppy.
Rosemary Feyler, Treasurer
Rosemary Feyler has been with Tri-County Horsemen since the beginning; selling hot dogs at the first horse show and showing from the second show, forward. Rosemary is TCH treasurer and past horse show manager. She is on the Maine Appaloosa Horse Club board and life member of Maine Quarter Horse Assn and member national clubs.
Rosemary currently owns an Appaloosa gelding Pass A Chocolate. Her last TCH championship was her Appaloosa mare Pretty Patty Pine and her first championship was with an Appaloosa named Old Speck’s Shenandoah. She rode a Quarter Horse gelding Tallahassee Tea at TCH shows, along with a long list of others.
Chris Miller, Board Member
Chris took her first riding lesson at 6 and has been hooked ever since. She has ridden and shown saddle seat, western, hunt seat, and dressage. As a child and young adult she was a successful member of her local 4-H team in Indiana and competed successfully on her college riding team.
Horses are the heart of her entire family who are always busy attending Tri-Couny, Pony Club, CMDA, and 4-H events in addition to recreational riding throughout the state. Her family has five horses, but she is most often seen aboard her solid chestnut Paint, Norfleeting Jet.
Brooke Hamar, Board Member
Brooke Hamar has been in the horse world since she was a young girl learning to ride with Helen Moore in Warren at Hill and Dale Stables. After some time off, about 10 years ago, Brooke and her family took 2 horses from Maine to Wisconsin for 5 years, before returning to Maine with 4!
Brooke enjoys trail rides on her 22 year old Quarter Horse mare and being a "Show Mom" to her daughter Maggie and a few friends. Brook has loved the show opportunities afforded to her daughter as she began her show career.
Melissa Demmons, Board Member
Melissa has ridden horses since she was a child and recently broke back into the horse scene with the purchase of Oyster River Equestrian Center in Warren. She can be found working around the farm every day.
Anna Kupel, Secretary
Anna brings a new perspective to TCH as a well-rounded first year member. She is an experienced horsewoman, with 25 years of training in a multitude of disciplines, including hunt seat, western, sulky driving, eventing, natural horsemanship and dressage.
Most days, Anna can be found at Oyster River Equestrian Center hacking her Haflinger, Chubbs, or her OTTB, Ambuscade.
