Meet our Officers & Board Members

Kristin Adams, President


Kristin has been showing at Tri-County since the age of 6. Over the years, she's shown hunt seat, western and saddle seat. You can still catch Kristin showing at Tri-County in the Western classes on her Paint, Gunner. 

Tri-County helped Kristin develop key riding and showmanship skills that allowed her to excel on the Maine 4-H team from 2004 through 2012.

Rita Glaude, Vice President

Rita has been showing with Tri-County since the mid-1970's. Over the years, she's shown in all seats with her Morgan and Appaloosa horses. For several years Rita was the horse show mom to her son, but has since returned to the ring. You can find Rita riding her Appaloosa, Star, in the trail and ranch classes. 

Rosemary Feyler, Treasurer


Rosemary Feyler has been with Tri-County Horsemen since the beginning; selling hot dogs at the first horse show and showing from the second show, forward. Rosemary is TCH treasurer and past horse show manager. She is on the Maine Appaloosa Horse Club board and life member of Maine Quarter Horse Assn and member national clubs.  

Rosemary currently owns an Appaloosa gelding Pass A Chocolate.  Her last TCH championship was her Appaloosa mare Pretty Patty Pine and her first championship was with an Appaloosa named Old Speck’s Shenandoah. She rode a Quarter Horse gelding Tallahassee Tea at TCH shows, along with a long list of others.

Chris Miller, Secretary

Chris took her first riding lesson at 6 and has been hooked ever since. She has ridden and shown saddle seat, western, hunt seat, and dressage. As a child and young adult she was a successful member of her local 4-H team in Indiana and competed successfully on her college riding team.

Horses are the heart of her entire family who are always busy attending Tri-Couny, Pony Club, CMDA, and 4-H events in addition to recreational riding throughout the state. Her family has five horses, but she is most often seen aboard her solid chestnut Paint, Norfleeting Jet.

Brooke Hamar, Board Member


Brooke Hamar has been in the horse world since a young girl learning to ride from Helen Moore. Owning horses off and on her entire life. Ten years ago getting back in it for the long haul. Her family took two horses to Wisconsin for 5yrs and came back to Maine with 4. She enjoys trail rides with her 22 year old Quarter Horse mare. Recently, Brooke has become a “Show Mom” to her teenage daughter and a few friends. Brooke and her family run a small private farm in Union where they offer riding lessons to all ages. Brooke has loved the opportunity that her young daughter has had with starting her horse show carreer at Tri-County Horseman. 

Melissa Demmons, Board Member

Melissa has ridden horses since she was a child and recently broke back into the horse scene with the purchase of Oyster River Equestrian Center in Warren. She can be found working around the farm every day.

You can catch Melissa showing in the English and Jumping divisions under the guidance of our show jumping division manager, Virginia Shaw.

Shawna Scott, Board Member


Shawna has been riding with Tri-County since the age of 9. She enjoys driving and riding hunt seat, western and dressage; competing in all of these disciplines throughout her riding career. 

You can still find Shawna showing in the open classes at Tri-County shows on her beautiful Welsh Cob Cross, Moonlite Bay

Noreen Clark, Show Committee Member


Noreen was Tri-County Queen in the early 1970's. She started her riding career with an Appaloosa, but later moved to Quarter Horses prior to finding her true passion; Morgans. Noreen has shown Morgans for many years at the local, state, and regional level. 

You can still find Noreen in the show pen with her beloved Morgan, Medomak Escapade.
