Kate Gibbs, Board Member

Kate Gibbs is a first year board member for TCH. She began riding with her grandmother as a small child. Together, they shared countless hours and laughs traversing the fields and woods of Waldo County.

She first showed at TCH 10 years ago with her beloved Standardbred pacer, Mighty Thunder. Thunder raced for her family, Gibbs Racing Stable before retiring and becoming a delightful riding horse.

For the last year and a half Kate has had a quarter horse named Scout. Last year they participated in a number of English classes at TCH along with her daughter Anna aboard her quarter horse Bundy. This year both are excited to try their hand at ranch riding!

Pam Schultz, Board Member

Pam started riding Morgans at a young age. As a youth, she took riding lessons from Helen Moore at Hill and Dale Farm and showed at Tri-County Horsemen shows. Pam rode saddle seat on a beautiful Arabian, Ariel. Pam then purchased a wonderful Morgan gelding,  N. S. F. Fibber. In their journey they change to hunt seat, taking riding lessons from Jen Grady’s at Acorn Hill Farm. The two of them enjoyed showing all over New England at many AAA shows, Tri-County, as well as many other local horse shows. In the off season, you could find them riding at the beach, or on trail rides. Pam recently started riding stock seat at shows last year and looks forward to continuing in the coming seasons.
